25 years of HTR - an anniversary marked by technology, team spirit and tact

 

On 23 May 2025, we celebrated a very special chapter in our company's history: 25 years of HTR – a quarter of a century of innovation, precision and long-standing partnerships. What began with a great deal of pioneering spirit and passion is now an established hardening plant with state-of-the-art technology, a strong team and a clear vision for the future. We were all the more delighted to be able to celebrate this anniversary in person with so many of our companions.

 

A look behind the scenes – the HTR tour

The afternoon began with an exclusive tour of our premises in Thalheim near Wels. Numerous guests took the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of our daily work.

At various stations, our employees gave practical presentations on heat treatment processes, provided exciting insights into our highly automated processes and answered questions about materials, processes and technology. Not only did we show how we harden components with pinpoint precision, but we also highlighted what makes HTR so special:

Technological expertise, quality in practice – and a team that sticks together. Many visitors were clearly impressed by how much the company has developed in recent years – and how much expertise goes into every single order.

 

Celebrating in style – the anniversary party at Maxlbeach

At 3 p.m., the celebrations began – or rather, the summery relaxation.

In typical April weather, we swapped our work clothes for sunglasses and umbrellas and celebrated our anniversary at Maxlbeach. With a great location, regional delicacies, cool drinks and good music, a relaxed and warm atmosphere quickly developed. There was laughter, toasts, shared memories and, of course, dancing.

The evening was characterised by honest conversations, appreciation and what has defined us for 25 years: down-to-earthness, team spirit and genuine relationships – with customers, partners and colleagues. A big thank you to everyone who made this day so special.

How it all began 

2000 - 2024

 

 

2000: Founded by Wolfgang Rosenblattl and RICO
2001: Start of production: 1 vacuum furnace, 1 shaft furnace, 3 tempering furnaces
2004: Quality certification according to ISO 9001
2010: Expansion to 3 vacuum furnaces, 3 shaft furnaces, 1 fully automatic chamber furnace line
2015: Expansion to include plasma system, 2nd fully automatic chamber furnace line, environmental certification
2018: Acquisition of 1st induction system
2020: 20 years of HTR, 3rd expansion, 1st induction system, 4 vacuum furnaces, deep freezing
2022: Acquisition of 2nd induction system, crack inspection system, straightening press
2023: Expansion of customer transport (own fleet), takeover by Semperit AG

The passion with which people work here can be felt in every conversation and every component. HTR was launched on 23 May 2000 – and now we are proudly celebrating our 25th anniversary! What began as a small company has developed over the years into an established name in the hardening industry. We can look back on a quarter of a century full of challenges, ideas and successes.
