THE HISTORY
How it all began
HTR Rosenblattl GesmbH was founded in 2000. The shareholders are Rico GmbH and Mr. Rosenblattl. From its founding until it began operations on February 1, 2001, an office with one employee was set up. During this time, equipment was ordered, the hall was adapted, and the first acquisitions were made. After starting with six employees, further investments were made and the workforce was expanded to 12 employees by 2004.
In 2005 and 2006, the number of employees was increased to 18. Furthermore, the company's business field was expanded to include heat treatments such as protective gas hardening, case hardening, and carbonitriding.
In the summer of 2009, Mr. Helmut Jan was hired as the new managing director, who took over this position completely from Mr. Rosenblattl in April 2010. Mr. Rosenblattl became an authorized signatory in April 2010 and remains with the company as a consultant.
By 2010, the number of employees had grown to 29. In the spring, work began on expanding the production hall. The extension is scheduled for completion in the fall so that the new equipment already ordered can be put into operation in the winter of 2010.
The new systems were put into operation at the beginning of 2011. The number of employees has grown to 35. At the end of the year, two new systems were ordered.
In 2012, two further systems were put into operation in the areas of protective gas hardening (air tempering furnace) and vacuum hardening (protective gas tempering furnace).
The last new system was put into operation in 2013 in the field of nitriding (pit furnace). The number of employees now stands at 38. The management decides to introduce ISO 14001:2008 for 2014.

In 2014, ISO 14001:2008 was implemented. That same year, the decision was made to invest in plasma nitriding with a new bell furnace system. In the fall of 2014, another major investment was made in a material analysis device.
At the beginning of 2015, the new bell furnace system for plasma nitriding was put into operation.
In 2018, HTR acquired a new induction system, which expanded its production capacities and increased efficiency. This investment enabled HTR to further improve its heat treatment services and strengthen its position in the market.
HTR celebrated significant milestones on its 20th anniversary in 2020. In addition to the induction system, the company has four vacuum furnaces and its own deep-freezing infrastructure. These acquisitions over the last few years have ensured that HTR can continue to meet the increasing demands of its customers.
In 2022, HTR continued its growth course with the acquisition of a second induction plant, a state-of-the-art crack testing system, and a straightening press. These technologies significantly expanded HTR's range of services and improved quality assurance in production.
The takeover by Semperit AG in 2023 marked a strategic step for HTR, leading the company into a new era of cooperation and development. At the same time, HTR expanded its services with its own fleet for customer transport, further increasing logistical efficiency and flexibility.
In 2025, HTR will celebrate its 25th anniversary.
