Strong together: HTR sets an example for breast cancer awareness
October at HTR Härterei was all about Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women—and education and early detection are crucial. That's why we as a team actively showed that health and solidarity are important to us.
Knowledge transfer through our company doctor's lecture
One of the highlights was an informative lecture by our company doctor, who educated employees about breast cancer, risk factors, early detection, and preventive measures. The aim was to alleviate fears, convey information in an understandable way, and raise awareness of preventive medical checkups.
Creativity and community at the Pink Ribbon workshop
In a Pink Ribbon workshop, colleagues crafted the international symbol of breast cancer awareness. This not only strengthened team spirit, but also sent a visible sign of solidarity. The workshop was complemented by Breast Cancer Bingo, a playful approach to imparting knowledge about breast cancer. The event was rounded off with delicious pink punch doughnuts, which ensured a good atmosphere and a cozy conclusion.
Why commitment is important to us
At HTR, employee health and awareness of important health issues are central. We believe that open discussions, joint activities, and information offerings contribute to prevention being put into practice and each individual being empowered.
The activities in October show that as a team, we are more than just a workplace: we are a community that takes responsibility, shares knowledge, and shows solidarity.
Our motto at HTR: Educate together. Support together. Be strong together.
